Date Night: Panic! at the Disco “Death of a Bachelor Tour” 3/24/17

by Drew Jackson

We wanted to start our Date Night Series off right, and what better way to do this than going to see Brenden Urie and Panic! at the Disco on their “Death of a Bachelor Tour” at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.  With a helpful assist from Saint Motel and Misterwives, they did more than solely bringing the house down; they brought date night to life!

We decided to spend a couple of extra dollars on the Victorious VIP Package, and boy did it pay off as you will see by our pictures.  Being six rows back from the stage made the experience even more memorable, but let’s see how the night started.

Before we began our journey to the Panic! at the Disco concert, it was time to get some yogurt! Some time ago I found this tasty little Yogurt shop called Yogurt In nestled into the bottom corner of the escalators directly across from the Michael Jackson Experience ticket window, and next to Starbucks that I highly recommend.

Panic! at the Disco hit the stage playing “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time” and the crowd went wild.  Luckily I brought my Google Pixel with and was able to capture some snippets of the concert in 4K!  We uploaded the videos to a Panic! at the Disco Death of a Bachelor YouTube Playlist if you want to check them all out.

Being a few feet away from the stage also gives you the ability to do this…. Panic! at the Disco Photobomb!!

For us date nights are important, and no matter how busy you are as parents you have to remember to take some time for yourselves.  We know it can’t always be large scale Panic! at the Disco concerts, but making time to spend with your significant other should always be a priority.

Whether it’s having movie night once a week when the kids are asleep or going out for a sit-down dinner once a month, the efforts will surely not be forgotten by your partner.  You can combine your common interests into fun themed events or introduce your partner to something they haven’t experienced before. We hope you enjoyed our first post in our Date Night Series and there will sure be more to come!
